چکیده
This article deals with a special case of the Sturm-Liouville boundary value problem (BVP), an eigenvalue characterized by differential operator unknown spectra and associated eigenfunctions. By examining BVP in Schr\"odinger form, we are interested where corresponding invariant function takes form reciprocal quadratic form. We call this modified second Paine-de Hoog-Anderssen (PdHA) problem. estimate lowest-order without solving but utilizing localized landscape effective potential functions instead. While for particular combinations parameter values that spectrum estimates exhibit poor quality, outcomes generally acceptable although they overestimate numerical computations. Qualitatively, is strikingly excellent, proposal can be adopted to other BVPs.

Univariate modified Fourier methods for second order boundary value problems
We develop and analyse a new spectral-Galerkin method for the numerical solution of linear, second order differential equations with homogeneous Neumann boundary conditions. The basis functions for this method are the eigenfunctions of the Laplace operator subject to these boundary conditions. Due to this property this method has a number of beneficial features, including an O(N) condition numb...
متن کاملOn boundary value problem for fractional differential equations
In this paper, we study the existence of solutions for a fractional boundary value problem. By using critical point theory and variational methods, we give some new criteria to guarantee that the problems have at least one solution and infinitely many solutions.
متن کاملOn Bernoulli Boundary Value Problem
We consider the boundary value problem: x (m) (t) = f (t, x(t)), a ≤ t ≤ b, m > 1 x(a) = β 0 ∆x (k) ≡ x (k) (b) − x (k) (a) = β k+1 , continuous at least in the interior of the domain of interest. We give a constructive proof of the existence and uniqueness of the solution, under certain conditions, by Picard's iteration. Moreover Newton's iteration method is considered for the numerical ...
متن کاملExistence of positive solutions for a second-order p-Laplacian impulsive boundary value problem on time scales
In this paper, we investigate the existence of positive solutions for a second-order multipoint p-Laplacian impulsive boundary value problem on time scales. Using a new fixed point theorem in a cone, sufficient conditions for the existence of at least three positive solutions are established. An illustrative example is also presented.
